    • North Carolina High School Football - Atkins tipped by Parkland

    The Atkins Camels football team (Winston-Salem, NC), was tipped 21-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC)

    The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC). The Phoenix come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Winston-Salem Prep was tipped by Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC), 30-6, in a non-league challenge.

    The Camels now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Forsyth for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Atkins will meet a Vikings team coming off a 28-6 non-league loss to Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
