Nebraska High School Football - Archbishop Bergan routed by Battle Creek

In Friday's non-league game, the Battle Creek Braves (Battle Creek, NE) football team smashed the host Archbishop Bergan Knights (Fremont, NE), by a score of 51-7.

The Braves (1-0) will now prepare for their game against David City (David City, NE). The Scouts come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, David City was ripped by Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE), 52-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Knights encounter the Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 1. Archbishop Bergan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 20-0 non-league win over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE).
