The Hitchcock County Falcons walloped the visiting Bayard Tigers football team by a count of 54-12 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Hitchcock County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Falcons travel to Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE) to confront the Knights in a non-league outing on Friday, September 1. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Sandhills/Thedford won 45-20 in their recent non-league outing against Burwell (Burwell, NE)

With the loss, Bayard moves to 0-1 on the season. The Tigers host Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE) to confront the Mavericks in a non-league outing on Friday, September 1. The Mavericks go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Sandhills Valley lost 34-26 in their recent non-league outing against Southern Valley (Oxford, NE)
