The Ben Lippen Falcons (Columbia, SC) football nudged the visiting Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders (Columbia, SC), 21-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Pinewood Prep Panthers (Summerville, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 1. Ben Lippen will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 34-19 non-league loss to Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC).

The Highlanders (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA). The Knights enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Bethlehem Christian Academy held off Creekside Christian Academy (McDonough, GA), 51-0, in a non-league bout.
