In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Big Sandy Pioneers football squad scored a good 26-13 victory over the Highwood Mountaineers.
In their next game, the Pioneers face the Heart Butte Warriors (Heart Butte, MT) in a C - Northern (6 Man) bout, on Saturday, September 2. Big Sandy will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.
The Mountaineers (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Shields Valley (Clyde Park, MT). The Rebels enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Shields Valley defeated North Star (Rudyard, MT), 58-44, in a non-league bout.
