The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX) and the host Cy-Fair Bobcats (Cypress, TX), observed Bridgeland's football squad edge Cy-Fair by a tally of 31-30.

The Bears now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Tompkins for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 2. Bridgeland will play a Falcons squad coming off a 31-0 non-league win over Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
