    • North Carolina High School Football - Mallard Creek can't get by Buford

    Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the host Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC), 10-7 in a non-league test.

    With the win, Buford improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wolves travel to North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-1. North Cobb lost 52-28 in their recent non-league test against Westlake (Atlanta, GA)

    With the loss, Mallard Creek moves to 1-1 on the season. The Mavericks host Gaffney (Gaffney, SC) to confront the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, September 8. The Indians go into the test with a record of 1-1.
