Georgia High School Football - Calhoun County felled by Windsor Academy

The Calhoun County Cougars football team (Edison, GA), was knocked off 22-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Windsor Academy Knights (Macon, GA)

The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Westminster Schools of Augusta (Augusta, GA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Westminster Schools of Augusta knocked off Westwood (Camilla, GA), 28-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sherwood Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Calhoun County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 64-32 league win over Baker County (Newton, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
