Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA), 44-30 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Chatham improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-1. Tunstall lost 43-7 in their recent non-league test against Dan River (Ringgold, VA)

With the loss, Prince Edward County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Altavista (Altavista, VA) to battle the Colonels in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Colonels come into the test with a record of 0-1. Altavista lost 26-14 in their recent non-league test against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA)
