Ohio High School Football - Liberty-Benton drops to Columbus Grove

August 25, 2023: Columbus Grove, OH 45830

In Friday's non-league game, the Columbus Grove Bulldogs (Columbus Grove, OH) football team knocked off the visiting Liberty-Benton Eagles (Findlay, OH), by a score of 24-14.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Patrick Henry (Hamler, OH). The Patriots come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Patrick Henry toppled Wayne Trace (Haviland, OH), 34-12, in a non-league game.

The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Arlington for a Blanchard Valley game on Friday, September 1. Liberty-Benton will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 28-3 non-league loss to Allen East (Harrod, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-1.
