The Conneaut Spartans football team (Conneaut, OH), was tipped 28-24 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH)

The Blue Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbiana (Columbiana, OH). The Clippers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Columbiana was tipped by McDonald (McDonald, OH), 21-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Independence for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Conneaut will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Edison (Richmond, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-2.
