In Friday's non-league game, the Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA) football team were victorious over the visiting Council Rock North Indians (Newtown, PA), by a score of 48-28.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Hatboro-Horsham (Horsham, PA). The Hatters come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Hatboro-Horsham knocked off Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA), 16-7, in a non-league game.
The Indians now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Abington for a non-league game on Friday, September 1. Council Rock North will battle a Galloping Ghosts team coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA). The Galloping Ghosts record now stands at 0-1.
