Indiana High School Football - South Newton trounced by Covington

The Covington Trojans walloped the visiting South Newton Rebels football team by a count of 55-16 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Covington upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN) to encounter the Falcons in a Wabash River outing on Friday, September 1. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 1-1. North Vermillion lost 21-14 in their recent league outing against Paris (Paris, IL)

With the loss, South Newton moves to 1-1 on the season. The Rebels travel to Fisher (Fisher, IL) to encounter the Bunnies in a non-league outing on Friday, September 1. The Bunnies go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Fisher lost 48-12 in their recent non-league outing against Dakota (Dakota, IL)
