The Crockett County Cavaliers (Alamo, TN) football defeated the host Ripley Tigers (Ripley, TN), 42-21 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cavaliers face the Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 1. Crockett County will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 54-7 non-league loss to Riverside (Decaturville, TN).

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Bolivar Central (Bolivar, TN). The Tigers enter the 3A Region 7 bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Bolivar Central defeated Fayette Academy (Somerville, TN), 51-20, in a non-league bout.
