The Dickson Comets (Ardmore, OK) football nudged the host Hugo Buffaloes (Hugo, OK), 18-16 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Tishomingo/Mill Creek (Tishomingo, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 1. Dickson will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

The Buffaloes (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Beggs (Beggs, OK). The Demons enter the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.
