North Carolina High School Football - East Davidson sneaks past Wheatmore

August 25, 2023: Trinity, NC 27370

The East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) football edged the host Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), 42-41 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 1. East Davidson will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 29-19 non-league win over Albemarle (Albemarle, NC).

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Ledford nudged West Davidson (Lexington, NC), 42-7, in a non-league bout.
