California High School Football - Viewpoint sneaks past Eastside

The Viewpoint Patriots (Calabasas, CA) football nudged the host Eastside Lions (Lancaster, CA), 32-27 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 1. Viewpoint will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Chieftains enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 27-21 non-league loss to Rock Academy (San Diego, CA).

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Castaic (Castaic, CA). The Coyotes enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record.
