Texas High School Football - Parkland nips El Dorado

The Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) football nudged the host El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX), 26-22 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Matadors clash with the Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 1. Parkland will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 21-17 non-league loss to Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX).

The Aztecs (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Huskies enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Chapin was nudged by Coronado (El Paso, TX), 17-13, in a non-league bout.
