Wisconsin High School Football - St. Croix Central overwhelms Elk Mound

August 25, 2023: Hammond, WI 54015

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the St. Croix Central Panthers (Hammond, WI) and the visiting Elk Mound Mounders (Elk Mound, WI), observed St. Croix Central's football squad bounce Elk Mound by a count of 42-0.

The Panthers now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Rice Lake for a Middle Border contest on Friday, September 1. St. Croix Central will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 34-10 non-league win over Superior (Superior, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Mounders encounter the Regis Ramblers (Eau Claire, WI) in a Cloverbelt contest, on Thursday, August 31. Elk Mound will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Ramblers go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 35-6 non-league win over Bloomer (Bloomer, WI).
