North Carolina High School Football - Enka routed by Pisgah

In Friday's non-league game, the Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) football team smashed the host Enka Jets (Enka, NC), by a score of 56-3.

The Bears (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Hampton (Hampton, TN). The Bulldogs come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Hampton overwhelmed Johnson County (Mountain City, TN), 32-26, in a non-league game.

The Jets now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rosman for a non-league game on Friday, September 1. Enka will meet a Tigers team coming off a 41-14 non-league loss to North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
