The Point Pleasant Big Blacks topped the visiting Greenbrier East Spartans football team by a final score of 26-7 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Point Pleasant improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Big Blacks host Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league outing on Friday, September 1. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Gallia Academy won 30-0 in their recent non-league outing against Athens (The Plains, OH)

With the loss, Greenbrier East moves to 0-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV) to confront the Flying Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, September 1.
