North Carolina High School Football - Kinston tips Greene Central

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC) and the visiting Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC), observed Kinston's football squad edge Greene Central by a count of 34-29.

The Vikings now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ayden - Grifton for a non-league contest on Friday, September 1. Kinston will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 17-7 non-league win over Martin County (Williamston, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Rams encounter the Beddingfield Bruins (Wilson, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 31. Greene Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bruins go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 27-7 non-league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC).
