Oklahoma High School Football - Raton topped by Guymon

The Raton Tigers football team (Raton, NM), was beaten 18-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Guymon Tigers (Guymon, OK)

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Heights (Oklahoma City, OK). The Jets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Western Heights was beaten by Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK), 56-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Trinidad for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 2. Raton will meet a Miners team coming off a 44-8 non-league loss to Lamar (Lamar, CO). The Miners record now stands at 0-1.
