Texas High School Football - Miami smashes Hedley

August 25, 2023: Hedley, TX 79237

The Miami Warriors (Miami, TX) football routed the host Hedley Owls (Hedley, TX), 62-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Lefors Pirates (Lefors, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 31. Miami will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 72-70 non-league loss to Wildorado (Wildorado, TX).

The Owls (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Groom (Groom, TX). The Tigers enter the 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 1 (6 Man) bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Groom walloped White Deer (White Deer, TX), 42-36, in a non-league bout.
