California High School Football - Saint Francis felled by Helix

In Friday's non-league game, the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) football team were victorious over the host Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA), by a score of 45-21.

The Highlanders (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ). The Mountain Lions come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Red Mountain knocked off Mesa (Mesa, AZ), 41-7, in a non-league game.

The Lancers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monterey Trail for a non-league game on Friday, September 1. Saint Francis will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
