Indiana High School Football - Hobart drops to Merrillville

In Friday's non-league game, the Merrillville Pirates (Merrillville, IN) football team knocked off the visiting Hobart Brickies (Hobart, IN), by a final score of 31-12.

The Pirates (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Bulldogs come into the Duneland game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Crown Point toppled Taft (Chicago, IL), 49-7, in a non-league game.

The Brickies now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Munster for a Northwest Crossroads game on Friday, September 1.
