    • Michigan High School Football - Ithaca overwhelms Homer

    August 25, 2023: Homer, MI 49245

    The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI) and the host Homer Trojans (Homer, MI), observed Ithaca's football squad bounce Homer by a count of 63-6.

    In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 31. Ithaca will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 12-7 non-league loss to Boyne City (Boyne City, MI).

    The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Manchester (Manchester, MI). The Flying Dutchmen enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Manchester routed Whitmore Lake (Whitmore Lake, MI), 42-6, in a non-league match.
