The Washington Panthers football squad scored 33 points and restricted the host Kaneland Knights to 27 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kankakee for a non-league battle on Friday, September 1. Washington will play a Kays squad coming off a 33-26 non-league win over Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Kays record now stands at 1-0.
Coming up next, the Knights play the Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 1. Kaneland will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 14-10 non-league win over Hinsdale South (Darien, IL).
