The Lawrence County Bulldogs football team (Louisa, KY), was beaten 14-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY)
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Martin County (Inez, KY). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Martin County was beaten by Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY), 9-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Perry County Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Lawrence County will meet a Commodores team coming off a 29-26 non-league win over Breathitt County (Jackson, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 2-0.
