The Union Bears football squad scored 34 points and restricted the host Lee Generals to 0 in the Bears league victory on Friday.

The Bears now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richlands for a non-league battle on Friday, September 1. Union will play a Blue Tornado squad coming off a 34-7 non-league loss to Gate City (Gate City, VA). The Blue Tornado record now stands at 0-1.
