The Lefors Pirates football team (Lefors, TX), was tipped 72-70 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Wildorado Mustangs (Wildorado, TX)

The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Azle Christian (Azle, TX). The Fighting Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Azle Christian nipped Bryson (Bryson, TX), 41-40, in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Miami for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 31. Lefors will meet a Warriors team coming off a 62-6 non-league win over Hedley (Hedley, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
