Pennsylvania High School Football - Lewisburg sneaks past Shamokin Area

August 25, 2023: Coal Township, PA 17866

The Lewisburg Green Dragons (Lewisburg, PA) football nudged the host Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), 16-13 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Green Dragons face the Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 1. Lewisburg will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 68-13 non-league win over Pottsville (Pottsville, PA).

The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Southern Columbia Area held off Berwick (Berwick, PA), 50-0, in a non-league bout.
