The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Lincoln Patriots (Sioux Falls, SD) and the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders (Sioux Falls, SD), observed Lincoln's football squad bounce Roosevelt by a count of 43-7.
The Patriots now own a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rapid City Central for a Eastern South Dakota - AAA match on Saturday, September 2.
The Rough Riders (0-1) will now prepare for their match against O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD). The Knights enter the Eastern South Dakota - AAA match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, O'Gorman was crushed by Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD), 21-17, in a league match.
