Iowa High School Football - Sioux City West drops to Lincoln

In Friday's non-league game, the Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA) football team knocked off the host Sioux City West Wolverines (Sioux City, IA), by a final score of 28-13.

The Lynx (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA). The Crusaders come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Bishop Heelan Catholic toppled Kuemper (Carroll, IA), 22-19, in a non-league game.

The Wolverines now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Sioux City for a non-league game on Friday, September 1. Sioux City West will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 46-37 non-league win over Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
