The Lincoln-Way Central Knights football squad scored 34 points and restricted the visiting St. Charles East Fighting Saints to 6 in the Knights non-league victory on Friday.

The Knights now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evanston for a non-league battle on Friday, September 1. Lincoln-Way Central will play a Wildkits squad coming off a 21-7 non-league win over Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Fighting Saints play the Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 1. St. Charles East will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 42-8 non-league win over St. Michael's (Austin, TX).
