The Maine Central Institute Huskies football team (Pittsfield, ME), was beaten 28-12 in Friday's league challenge with the host Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME)
The Coyotes (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Winslow (Winslow, ME). The Black Raiders come into the D North challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Winslow achieved victory over Skowhegan (Skowhegan, ME), 18-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Huskies now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nokomis for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 2.
