The Manchester Panthers football team (Akron, OH), was ripped 48-13 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Sandy Valley Cardinals (Magnolia, OH)

The Cardinals (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Canton South (Canton, OH). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Canton South trounced Dover (Dover, OH), 50-40, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Marlington for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Manchester will meet a Dukes team coming off a 31-21 non-league win over Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH). The Dukes record now stands at 2-0.
