    • Utah High School Football - Salem Hills tips Maple Mountain

    The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Salem Hills Skyhawks (Salem, UT) and the visiting Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT), observed Salem Hills's football squad edge Maple Mountain by a count of 24-17.

    The Skyhawks now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Provo for a 4A Region 8 contest on Friday, September 1. Salem Hills will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 21-13 non-league loss to Timpview (Provo, UT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.

    Coming up next, the Golden Eagles encounter the Lehi Pioneers (Lehi, UT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 1. Maple Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Pioneers go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 45-13 non-league win over Rigby (Rigby, ID).
