The West Muskingum Tornadoes (Zanesville, OH) football defeated the visiting Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH), 38-20 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Tornadoes face the Garaway Pirates (Sugarcreek, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 1. West Muskingum will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 40-12 non-league win over Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH).
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Athens (The Plains, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Athens lost by Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH), 30-0, in a non-league bout.
