North Dakota High School Football - St. John routs Midway/Minto

The St. John Woodchucks football squad scored 72 points and restricted the host Midway/Minto Mustangs to 36 in the Woodchucks league victory on Friday.

The Woodchucks now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Prairie co-op [Rolette/Wolford/Rolla] for a 9-Man Region 2 (9 Man) battle on Friday, September 1. St. John will play a Comets squad coming off a 74-24 league win over Larimore (Larimore, ND). The Comets record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] Eagles (Walhalla, ND) in a 9-Man Region 2 (9 Man) battle, on Friday, September 1. Midway/Minto will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 44-6 league loss to Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] (Lakota, ND).
