The Orange Lions football team (Pepper Pike, OH), was ripped 49-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH)

The Rams (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Aquinas (Louisville, OH). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Aquinas was ripped by Smithville (Smithville, OH), 51-8, in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wickliffe for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Orange will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 48-12 non-league win over St. John (Ashtabula, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-1.
