The Muir Mustangs football squad scored 22 points and restricted the host St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors to 15 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Banning for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 31. Muir will play a Pilots squad coming off a 63-7 non-league win over Bell (Bell, CA). The Pilots record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Warriors play the Etiwanda Eagles (Etiwanda, CA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 31. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
