North Carolina High School Football - Starmount gets by North Iredell

August 25, 2023: Boonville, NC 27011

The Starmount Rams football squad scored 32 points and restricted the visiting North Iredell Raiders to 29 in the Rams non-league victory on Friday.

The Rams now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forbush for a non-league battle on Friday, September 1. Starmount will play a Falcons squad coming off a 44-28 non-league loss to McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Raiders play the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 1. North Iredell will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 20-13 non-league win over Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC).
