Tennessee High School Football - Oliver Springs drops to Roane County

In Friday's non-league game, the Roane County Yellowjackets (Kingston, TN) football team knocked off the host Oliver Springs Bobcats (Oliver Springs, TN), by a score of 45-20.

The Yellowjackets (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Meigs County (Decatur, TN). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Meigs County toppled Hixson (Hixson, TN), 35-16, in a non-league game.

The Bobcats now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Harriman for a 1A Region 2 game on Friday, September 1. Oliver Springs will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 21-18 non-league loss to Wartburg Central (Wartburg, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-2.
