The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) and the host Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD), observed Tri-Valley's football squad bounce Parker by a count of 45-13.
The Mustangs now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Custer for a Dakota 12 contest on Friday, September 1. Tri-Valley will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 50-13 league loss to West Central (Hartford, SD). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
Coming up next, the Pheasants encounter the Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD) in a Big East contest, on Friday, September 1. Parker will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Fliers go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 36-2 league loss to Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan (Emery, SD).
