The Philip Scotties (Philip, SD) football defeated the host Wall Eagles (Wall, SD), 22-12 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Scotties face the Bennett County Warriors (Martin, SD) in a Great Western (9 Man) bout, on Friday, September 1. Philip will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 40-22 league loss to White River (White River, SD).
