    The Quapaw Wildcats football squad scored 12 points and restricted the host Salina Wildcats to 10 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

    The Wildcats now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Galena for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8.

    Coming up next, the Wildcats face the Locust Grove Pirates (Locust Grove, OK) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 31. Salina will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 45-14 non-league loss to Pryor (Pryor, OK).
