West Virginia High School Football - Richwood routed by Webster County

August 25, 2023: Upper Glade, WV 26206

The Richwood Lumberjacks football team (Richwood, WV), was ripped 40-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV)

The Highlanders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Williamstown (Williamstown, WV). The Yellowjackets come into the Little Kanawha challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Williamstown trounced Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV), 62-6, in a league challenge.

The Lumberjacks now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Meadow Bridge for a Coalfield A challenge on Friday, September 1. Richwood will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 24-12 league win over Van (Van, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
