The Riverside Warriors football team (Belle, WV), was beaten 38-13 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV)
The Flying Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Greenbrier East was beaten by Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV), 26-7, in a league challenge.
The Warriors now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Parkersburg for a Mountain State challenge on Friday, September 1. Riverside will meet a Big Reds team coming off a 56-0 league win over St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Big Reds record now stands at 1-0.
