The Stevens Raiders football team (Rapid City, SD), was beaten 21-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Washington Warriors (Sioux Falls, SD)
The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD). The Cavaliers come into the Eastern South Dakota - AAA challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson achieved victory over Harrisburg (Harrisburg, SD), 28-21, in a league challenge.
The Raiders now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Douglas for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 2. Stevens will meet a Patriots team coming off a 34-16 non-league win over Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.
